My mother-in-law wrote back. (You may have noticed my address name of
Megas-Robinson, Megas being my wife's family name.)
"many thanks" in Greek (using Roman letters) is "efharisto polee" accent being on
the "ee."
"megas" is Greek for "great" accent on the "me" but not usually in this phrase

I have some specific diagrams of engineering discoveries made and used
during the Roman Period and I have to go with them some paragraphs of
specific explanation in English. I would like to have those technical
paragraphs translated into Latin, so that I may copy the latin text onto
my engineering papyrus roll.to use in describing the diagrams. The
English Text will be typewritten on stiff cards side by side on the
display table.
Is there anyone out there in the Roman world that could take on this
project for me. I would be glad to re-imburse you, if you message me
your rates for your trouble, as well as, giving you credit on the
display cards for the translation.
I also wish to thank those of your who gave me the ideas for the
expansion of the volume of the papyrus engineering roll by copying from
the Latin--English texts about engineering that were recommended, as
well as, the offerings on the web. Books are on order and I have
reviewed the web offerings. Thank you again, they were just what I was
looking for!

I have received counsel that I have jumped the starting gate in my
announcement earlier. Please consider that post as a forerunner of my
intention to take the Oath of Office as soon as is practicable after the
Kalends of Ianuari. The additions I made are to be considered as a pact
between myself and Nova Roma, not Anything Official.
