Salus et Fortuna Omnes, Salvete!

I was searching through my SCA files and came across this enclosure. I
hope it is of some use.

You know? I've known about nuoc mam being the "same" as garum
for years, but I kept deciding not posting it to the list because
I thought all you cook types knew about it, and maybe since
nobody said it that it was a bit off so far as accuracy went.
The cruncher is that I never thought of checking out a Vietnamese
market for the stuff. I mean, it's not as if I thought all those
folks were making it at home (I'm sure it would have made the
papers at some time over the last 23 years at least so far as
nuisance complaints and clash of cultures news items. The gill
nets and dog meat sure did.) Of course if I do manage to score
some, I will HAVE to cook something. So maybe I'll continue to
procrastinate.

Salvete!
To Whom it May Concern:
I, Valeria Octavia have deleted my ICQ.
I told a couple of people I had ICQ....but since my 'puter needs more
free memory I had to delete it.

"Columns...getcha columns..turn any hovel into a showplace!"

Some nice fountains, including some relatively inexpensive "spewing plaques" (fountains that hang on the wall),
urns, table bases, small and large statuary, and a 4-poster bed made from 8-ft columns that you have to see to
believe.
