The groups shown in the History Channel presentation
The Roman War Machine were

The Ermine Street Guard in England, the oldest roman
reenactment group founded in 1981 for a historical
festival and they decided to keep on doing it.

Legion IX Hispana a contact fighting and display unit
out of San Diego, CA they were shown in the barbarian
attack sequences.

Legion XIIII has blue shields and they did not seem to
be taking part in this series.
