Wouldn't it be more likely Mercurius, as the bearer of
tidings, along with Iuppiter, as the god of lightning
(i.e., electricity)? Many of the ancients tended to
see the gods as part of a web of forces; thus, for
marriage, there were about 5 or 6 deities who all had
to be propitiated for the initial wedding. So here
you've got two, for the mechanics of the thing, and
maybe also Minerva, so you can get intelligent emails.
My question: who is the God of Spam?

Also Ianus, because it is like a doorway, it involves going through a
port[al].There might still be others.

Discordia. And Mercurius, for the mercantile kinds.And Mars, for those
spammers who are on the warpath.
Not a deity, but a characteristic of spam calls Narcissus to mind.
Valete.
Caius Aelius Ericius.

Greetings My Friends;
Marcus Municius Audens is back from a very, very un-planned trip to the
hospital. I am in pretty good shape, but am presently for the next few
weeks under some restriction as to my out of house activities.
With any luck at all, and the intervention of those on high, "and if the
creeks don't rise" all should be well. I will be working on the get
well note so kindly sent to me by those in NR in the next few days, on
an individual basis, but please let me thank all of you who sent me get
well wishes. My wife copied them and brought them to the Hospital for
me t read. They were a great help and I thank you all for your
thoughtfulness.
All the best to you all, and my appreciation for your thoughts and
consideration.
Very Respectfully;
Marcus Municius Audens

You had me worried there, "Sepianus".
