Salvete Citizens of Nova Roma:

The Senate is still voting on the establishment of a new Province
(Pannonia-consisting of the area inclusive of the present political
states of Hungary and Slovakia), together with the selection of a
Pro-Praetor (Alexander Probus) for that province.

In the coming week the Senate will discuss and vote upon NR's first
Budget which has been submitted to the Senate already for preliminary
review. This is the same budget that was presented to the NR
Citizenship just pror to the convening of the senate for the present
discussion / voting session.

Congratulations to our newest Pro-Praetors:

--Lucia Maria Fimbria--Southwest U.S.Province;
--Gaius Iunius Germanus--Nortwest U.S. Province.

I congratulate you both on your appointments, and welcome you to the
Provincial Administration of Nova Roma. I am sure that both of you have
some new ideas and new methodology and I wish you the success of both of
the above. I refer you both to the Pro-consul of the North-East U.S.
Province and the Pro-Praetor of the South-East U.s. Province both of
which who have generated some excellent ideas in regard to communication
and recruiting.

I also refer you to the Probvincial Administration List of the NR
Website to contact all of the present Pro-praetors now serving NR. They
have some very good ideas, and very probably some tips for your
provincial management. If there is anything that I or the present
government can do to assist you in your new duties , please do not
hesitate to ask. May your administrations be fruitful and satisfying.

Salvete,

It is my great pleasure to announce that Lucius Equitius Cincinnatus, Senator
and Flamen Martialis, has been unanimously voted to the postion of Pontiff by
the Collegium Pontificum.

Lucius Equitius Cincinnatus has been with Nova Roma since the first month of
its founding, and has been a great supporter of the Religio Romana throughout
that time. His efforts as Flamen Martialis have proven his knowledge and
Pietas, and he will no doubt be a great asset to the revival of Roman
worship.

I hope everyone will join me in welcoming Lucius Equitius as Pontiff. AVE!!

My personal congratulatons to Ovidia Luna and to Lucius Cinncinatus on
their appointments to thier respective religious offices.

I know Lucius Cinncinatus well and I am confident that he will make a
decided difference in the Roman Religio in a positive and dynamic way.

While I know Ovidia only by E-Mai Message, I am sure that her
contributions to the Religio Romano will be significant and lasting.

My heartiest congratulations to you both inyou new positions, and it is
my wish that you may both recieve the happiness and the rewards of your
