Salvete!

The Senate has continued to discuss who might fill the remainder of the
term of Germanicus. The responsibilities are too heavy to ask one Censor
to handle it for the rest of the year. An election will probably be
announced soon. The two men who have been discussed as qualified
candidates are Lucius Equitius Cincinattus and Caius Marius Merullus.
There is nothing to stop others from putting themselves up as candidates
as well.

No date for such an election has yet been decided upon.

I might add that there is still a vacancy for a Plebian Aedile to be
filled, which would call for an election within the Comitia Plebis
Tributa.
