From: QFabiusMaxmi@--------

Iudex Q. Fabius Maximus Speaks:
Lucius Marconius Romanus

You have been found guilty by the Senate of Nova Roma for violating Article
VI, Paragraph 1 of our Constitution, which states (in part) "Citizens need
not be practitioners of the Religio Romana, but may not engage in any
activity that intentionally blasphemes or defames the Gods, the Religio
Romana, or its practitioners..." in an email sent to the official Nova Roma
email list on December 24th 2750 AUC.
It is the judgment of the Senate of Nova Roma that Lucius Marconius Romanus
violated the provisions of our Constitution deliberately. Under the authority
of Article II, Paragraph 1.1, the Senate has voted unanimously to expel
Lucius Marconius Romanus from the rolls of the Citizens of Nova Roma.

Is this correct? Will you accept your punishment?

Marconius: NO, I claim my right to be heard in assembly

Very well, if the prosecutor and the advocate are ready, we will proceed.

No, no... I think that in 3 MEGAbyte I could send it!
Just I don't know how to compress it into .mp3 : I use midi files.

Why do you think a repost on contemporary U.S. partisan politics is
appropriate here on an international Roman site? A friend e-mailed
me cute pictures of kittens, and I know there are a lot of NR cat
lovers, but I don't think thats enough to clutter your mailbox with
the forward. Perhaps the more appropriate place for general
political opinion would be the Back Alley List. Or perhaps you think
some of this post expressed Roman Virtues. Now, your YOUR comments on
that would be appropriate. My familia has members in Brazil, Puerto
Rico and Italy, please consider what relevance your political reposts
might have to them before you repost like this.
Thank you for any consideration you might use on your future posts.

I apologise to those who this does not relate to. If you are one of those, simply delete and I hope you continue to have a nice day.

To those in the Aurelia gens, I seek an audience with your Paterfamilias. Failing that, I seek ways to contact Publius Aurelius.

As a new cive applicant, I wish to liaise with Publius Aurelius about my entry into his gens.

Salvete!

Good to know that there is a lot of interest in the festival!

I'll try to answer the questions in one compiled email.

The problem with *.wav files is that a song of about three minutes is
something like thirty megabytes in size, which unfortunately my mailbox
cannot handle, and judging from the amount of webmail users, it's
unworkable. I don't really know how large *.midi files are but I reckon they
are much smaller, so I suppose that would do. However, it is fairly easy to
find a converter from *.wav to *.mp3. If you don't have or can't find one,
let me know and I'll send you a small programme that works just fine.

Manius Constantinus Serapio scripsit:

I understand. Well, I wouldn't be complaining about 3,0001 MB, if that is
what you mean :). However, as suggested before, you can use an mp3
compressor, and if you don't have one, I'll send you the one I use. If your
work is then still larger than 3MB, you might want to zip it, or we'll just
have to make an exception. I'd hate to see a potential masterpiece getting
lost because of the rules!

Valete bene!

Salve,

What type of OS do you use ?
Anyway you will probably have to pass through a WAV format before
creating the mp3.
On Linux all MIDI editors are able to produce WAV and to produce a MP3
from WAV I
prefer lame, but gogo or bladdenc could do the job

I am sorry for the delay, but I was absent in the past days.

So, the prices of the Forum Fulvii 2002 agreement are as follow:

liras 60000 (euro 30; $28) per person (overnight stay with breakfast in
double or triple bedroom)

liras 100000 (euro 50; $46.5) per person (overnight stay with breakfast in

As to the meals, as I already said, the historical groups who participate
will receive them for free.

I am sorry for the alteration in the previous informations. You see, it is
not my fault.

At this point, if those who already gave their agreement want to take it

The above site does have a Greco-Roman section in it. I produce this art
work in my spare time between college, work and other social involvements. I

create free web and personal computer art for those who may wish it.

If you like what you see on my web page please email me with a description
