Salve Julilla. I'm very, very glad to see that forum walkthrough
again. I enjoyed a lot when I played chapter I and part of chapter II
of SPQR even though my limitations with english language( I had to
use the english-spanish dictionary very often :-) ). Besides, since I
visited the actual ruins of the forum at Rome, this game was very
important to me emotionally, because I was able to recognize many of
the buildings. So I'll visit your site often. By the way I was
Fabricius Marius at AS.

Edictum Propraetoricium XXXI about the appointment of a Praeceptor of
Academia Thules ad Studia Romana Antiqua et Nova
It is a great pleasure for me, Caeso Fabius Quintilianus, to appoint this
Illustrus citizen to this position within Provincia Thule and the Cohors
Propraetoris (The Propraetorian Staff, Provincial Governament)! I, as a
Nova Roman citizen within the Provincia Thule, am proud to see the Gravitas
and Pietas this citizen shows and I am very glad that he has accepted this
important position!
I. Senator et Tribunus Plebis Illustrus Titus Labienus Fortunatus is hereby
appointed as a Praeceptor (teacher) of Academia Thules ad Studia Romana
Antiqua et Nova.
II. Above appointed official is asked to observe that he is bound by the
"Approved Regula (Charter) for the Administration of Thule" as it was
published on the 15th of April 2001.
III. As an official of Provincia Thule they are asked to, within one week
of his appointment to swear the public oath shown on

using both his Nova Roman name and withinparenthesis his macroworld (real)
name.
The Oath must be published on the NovaRomaThule List and the Nova Roma Roma

Edictum Propraetoricium XXX (B) about the Approved relationship of
Provincia Thule with the Independent LEGIO VII "Res Publica"
I. I had the intention to found a Nova Roman Re-enactment Legio of
Provincia Thule. The main goal was to find a new attraction for Nova Roma
to gain more citizens in Provincia Thule. This was stopped by an
intercessio by the Senior Consul. This has forced the Legio VII "Res
Publica to be founded privately.
II. The Independent LEGIO VII "Res Publica" was founded 16th of October, as
a entity totally separate from Nova Roma and Provincia Thule. As Propraetor
of Provincia Thule I hereby proclaim The Independent LEGIO VII "Res
Publica" as a independent organisation that shall be treated as an "ally
and friend" of Provincia Thule.
III. Provincia Thule has no responsiblility for whatever actions The
Independent LEGIO VII "Res Publica" will take, even though we view the
Legio as a friendly organisation.
IV. Provincia Thule shall do its outmost to make the members of The
Independent LEGIO VII "Res Publica" feel welcome in our Nova Roman
Provincia, be it just as friends or as citizens. There will be a link to
the homepage of The Independent LEGIO VII "Res Publica" on the Provincia
Thule homepage as a sign of our friendship.
V. The Provincia Thule shall support the Independent Legio VII "Res
Publica" when it seeks the sponsorship of the Nova Roma Senate and the
support of the Sodalitas Militum (Nova Roma) in this task.
VI. All Adiutores (Propraetarian assistants) and Quirites living in Thule
are allowed (if they think that such a comment is needed) and encouraged to
assist and work with The Independent LEGIO VII "Res Publica" in their
capacity as ordinary citizens of the Nova Roman Provincia Thule.
VII. This edictum becomes effective immediately.

Salvete Quirites!
The Third Plenum of the Consilium Provincale Thules has come to an end. The
discussions, advices and suggestions by the Consilium resulted in the
following Edictum and Renuntatio:
1. Edictum Propraetoricium XXX (B) about the Approved relationship of
Provincia Thule with the Independent LEGIO VII "Res Publica"
2. Renuntatio Propraetoricium VI about the Conclusion of the Third Plenum
of the Consilium Provincale Thules
I will here repeat some of the information from the Renuntatio VI.
At the Fourth Plenum of the Consilium Provincale Thule, during the autumn,
we will decide about our participation in the provincial cooperation called
"the Limes Project" and how to better our Recruitment policy. One or two
other issues will also be dealt with, maybe the NR "Tax".
If any citizen would like the Consilium to deal with some issue it is
always possible to make a suggestion privately to the Propraetor. Then it
will be a question of time and knowledge. All citizens are of course
encouraged to contact the Propraetor to get help with private issues and to
discuss important issues! The Propraetor will deal with these issues
personally or through his Cohors Propraetoris.
I say as I have said before:
"There will be a lot of work to be done, to make these dreams come true! As
Propraetor I deeply hope to see more citizens step forward into the light
to take part in this revival on the Nordic ground of a reborn Nova Roman
Provincia!"

I must say, "THANK YOU FOR NOT THROWING THAT AWAY!!!" As a teacher of both
Latin and History I am truly grateful for this wunderful possibility to
show my students something more than the allready great ruins. As you can
see, I myself can take much out of these ruins in the Forum, but my students
can't and therefore this walk-through is a great thing for them.
