"Republic of Rome" is a game about the early, middle and late Republic. It
touches the wars lightly and the emphasize the politics in the Senate. Can
be played many times and will take between 2 to 25 hours or more. Highly
recommended. Produced by Avalon Hill Games. Cost: maybe $38?
It can be a good preparation for Nova Roma. ;-) Good luck!

this whole warrior thing enough.
I was wondering, do we currently reconize or have
diplomatic contact with any micronations?

About the LIMES co-operation

I, Marcus Arminius Maior, Propraetor of Provincia Brasilia of Nova Roma, declare that this province joins the LIMES co-operation
I. The Provincia Brasilia hereby joins the LIMES co-operation.
II. The co-operation is not restricted in its scope of application but shall cover in particular the following fields:
a) Provincial infrastructure (e.g. Web-Site development)
b) Development of common provincial administrative standards
c) Organisation of conferences and meetings
d) Co-ordination of research projects of common interest
III. The co-operation shall be implemented by all means necessary and available in an internet-environment. In particular a restricted e-mail-list shall be established for this purpose. A scriba shall be responsible for its moderation.
IV. The co-operation is open to all provinces of Nova Roma which have been established by Senatus Consultum. The respective provincial governor may join the co-operation by enactment of an edictum making the co-operation applicable in the respective province.
V. Any disputes arising out of the co-operation shall be settled by way of mediation. A mediator has to be agreed upon by all affected governors.

nossa Provincia se junta ao Programa de Cooperacao LIMES.
I. A Provincia Brasilia Provincia Brasilia se junta ao Programa de Cooperacao LIMES.
II. A cooperacao nao se limita ao escopo desta aplicacao mas devera cobrir em especial os seguintes campos:

As the year nears its end, I am working to ensure that all Citizens who
have made financial donations to Nova Roma receive a proper written
acknowledgement for their tax records. If you have given money to Nova
Roma and have not gotten a letter of thanks, please e-mail me at
pcassia@-------- or pcassia@janeraeburn.com.
I will also note that I do not intend to run for Quaestor in this
year's elections. I plan to spend the year focusing on the Religio
Romana instead. I will of course volunteer whatever time is needed to
ensure a smooth transition with the new financial team and meet all
legal requirements.
If you are a Citizen with financial expertise, particularly dealing
with nonprofits in the U.S., I encourage you to seek this position, as

We're having a discussion about donations in Provincia Gallia (Australis and Borealis). Basicly, our question is : Where to send the money ? Who can we trust ? How to ensure about security of such transactions ?
It might be interesting to know how this was dealt within the Respublica. It would, at least, give us a working solution.
