I returned home this evening from a weekend trip to find a message from my boss on voice mail.
I must be at the store on Friday and Saturday for some training seminars, which were supposed to
be next weekend (the 29th and 30th).
I shall be attending the get together in Wisconsin next month and will reschedule this informal
gathering to later this Spring, when I figure out a non conflicting date.

Salve Marce Octavi Germanice--
Thank you for your explanation of what happened,
regarding the Vedii resignations. I was glad to have
a clear explanation of the 'vote of three' that Serena
seemed so offended by. That bothered me, before. Now
that I understand, it makes a lot more sense.
Vale!

Salvete Omnes,
I return from a week long trip with limited access to or time for the
internet to read that the Vedi have resigned.
I share the sadness expressed by others at their leaving. I admire
them both and thank them for their service to the Republic.
Thanks also to Marcus Cassius, Quintus Fabius, and Marcus Octavius
for their comments and explanations that help put the events in
perspective.
To the Vedi, may the Gods smile on you. As for New Rome - Long Live
the Republic!
Valete,
Gaius Popillius Laenas
