Salvete,
I would like to thank all of the Senator's who voted "aye" on my
appointment as Propraetor of
AMS. I will try my very best not to let you, AMS Province or Nova Roma
down. I will continue with
the planned Provincial re-organization that the former Propraetor had
proposed. I ask that all
citizens in AMS join the AMS_NR Yahoogroups list or e-mail me. I will
be looking for 3 Legate
Majors. If you are interested let me know.
I will soon post the Edict on Provincial Re-organization that
Secunda Cornelia Valeria had
made but not posted. From there I sincerely hope the Province will fly
high.

The best thing would be to print it through Acrobat distiller and
distribute the .pdf file. I think that even in the M$ world Publisher is
not very common.
Is there anybody with Publisher and Distiller out there?

I was trying to think in the direction of places that relate to
Roman history.
Trying to distribute Nova-Roma's brochures in collages or
universities where ancient history is taught might be a good idea.
Also, maybe advertising in history related periodicals, magazines,
newsletters, etc, although this could cost money...
Respectfully,
Marcus Aquilus Sator.

Julilla Sempronia Magna Alexandria Iulia Agrippa, greetings
If you have not visited Nova Roma of late, there is already an
excellent chat client built into the site by our talented and
overworked senior consul/curator araneae, Marcus Octavius Germanicus.
The best times to find other cives Novaromanae is every nundinae, or
market day, at times announced on the list.
Bene vale!

Did the Romans use the 7 day week as we do? What did they call each day?
Or was it all "the day before the Kalends of December"?
