Salve Citizens of Nova Roma.
I , Ambrosius Silvanius Virbius, have returned to Nova Roma after a
lonnnnnnng trip to the wastelands and very close to the Elysian
Fields. At times I could smell the honey and grapes and see the forms
of the Ancient Muses as they frolicked in the green fields beyond the
gates. ( I had a liver transplant after progressive failure) . Now
after suddenly having to leave my posts as Aedilis Curule and
Preator, Laci Magni Provicia,in MMDCCLI, I am able to return to a
landscape of great growth and prosperity. I am also happy to say that
my Gens has dusted itself off, and having added more members in my
absence is ready to return to Nova Roma. The Gens Silvanius is happy
to report that while the recent droughts have killed off many fruit
trees , our grapes are still healthy and after some trimming will be
ready to harvest so that the specialty of the Gens, beside the great
beauty of our ladies, vinting will be up to production in the next
year. We hope to meet with you all and and toast great Bacchus with
the blood of his gifts. Just prior to our departure Silvanius had
announced games to be held in a grand manner which included feats of
combat and athletics in the Toledo, Oh. area. After looking at the
much grown structure of Nova Roma ,I realize that many
administrations must be dealt with to hols such a celebration.
Hopefully in the future our gens may be allowed to host such games to
celebrate our return to NR and its great success. Know also that our
web site will be re established in the near future to reflect the
