I would like to announce the 2nd Lacus Magni Festival
(more like a gathering currently) will be held on the
28th of Sept in Columbus, Ohio (at the McKinley Field
Shelter House at 1016 Goodale Blvd) from 10:30am to
roughly 5:30pm with dinner to follow.

I used to be a member of the defunct Ancient Sites years ago
and I have lost track of many friends from that forum. I just
applied for membership in Nova-Roma and I hope I can find

I was a former member. The problem is of course we are not ancient sites.
We are not a true role playing game (RPG). Our decisions have an impact on
our future, both immediate and distant.

I was working on the translations and made this, the oath of office. And I remembered that I´ve never made one, what a shame for me (I thought it was only to the BIG magistracies!)! To pacify the Gods and the law, next the plain version of the translation, I will make all the four oaths that I must here (also to purge all bad omens that I had these months...)

Thank you for the opportunity to look into that area of endeavor
(Ancient Sites). I went through the Roman Area threads, and reviewed
some 50 or so messages from threads entitled with my particular
interests.

I am afraid that the site, while obviously facinating for some, was
really not as interesting as I thought it might be.

In short , I learned a lot about some other rather strange opinions, but
little if anything concrete about Rome and her culture. I thank you,
however, for the chance to review the site.
