This lex is intended to bring Nova Roma closer in line with the ancient Roman way, and allow better diffusion of Nova Roma to the whole world.

  1. A plebeian candidate must spend at least six months in the Tribuneship, Quaestorship, Curatorship or Propraetorship to run for the aedileship of the plebs.
  2. A current plebeian scriba of one of the current plebeian aediles may run for the aedileship without the exigencies of paragraph A. of this lex if he proves he was an aedile's scriba for at least six months.
