Artorius Praeconinus ~~who shall receive full recognition for his work~~. ~~It shall be adopted as the brand and logo for~~ Nova Roma in ~~Germany~~, ~~Austria and Switzerland~~.	+	I. −	II. ~~It shall use the same colors as the~~ Nova Roma ~~flag; featuring the territories making up the province of Germania on a crimson background~~, ~~with a golden~~ SPQR ~~centered within a simple golden laurel wreath~~. ~~Above the central images shall read the words '~~Nova Roma', ~~with 'Germania' written underneath~~. ~~It shall adopt the same aspect ratios as the~~ Nova Roma ~~flag when flown or used together. The design is intended to look similar to the Nova Roma flag and that of similar existing provincial designs including~~ Italia, Gallia ~~and~~ Brasilia.	+	II. 		+	Upon the recommendation of my legatus appointed to administer Provincia Germania within the dioecesis of the combined provinces of Europa Celtica et Germanica, in my capacity as dux of the dioecesis, and as legatus pro praetore of Provincia Germania, I proclaim the following edict in order to further the re-organization of my province as expected by the Senate and the People of Nova Roma:

		+	I. As has been the custom in Nova Roma for years, provinces often adopt their own identifying flag or banner to represent their part of the Republic. I am pleased to formally announce and declare the Provincial Flag for Provincia Germania, designed and recommended by my legatus C. Artorius Praeconinus who shall receive full recognition for his work. It shall be adopted as the brand and logo for Nova Roma in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

It shall use the same colors as the Nova Roma flag; featuring the territories making up the province of Germania on a crimson background, with a golden SPQR centered within a simple golden laurel wreath. Above the central images shall read the words 'Nova Roma', with 'Germania' written underneath. It shall adopt the same aspect ratios as the Nova Roma flag when flown or used together. The design is intended to look similar to the Nova Roma flag and that of similar existing provincial designs including Italia, Gallia and Brasilia.

		+	III. The provincial flag will always remain subordinate to the Nova Roman flag. If there is only one flag to be used, that always have to be the Nova Roman flag. The provincial flag shall be used at events only if the event is specifically a provincial internal community event. When both are flown together, the Nova Roman flag takes precedence and shall be flown first from the left, with the provincial flag to the right. If in a moving parade or event, the Nova Roman flag should always lead.
