Magistracy overview


The curator aerarii (fem. curatrix) is the supervisor of the State Treasury appointed by the Nova Roman Senate. The curator aerarii acts in the capacity of Chief Financial Officer of Nova Roma under the direction of the consuls and cooperating with the consular quaestors. Beside the curator aerarii there are currently two inferior Financial Officers appointed by the Senate who help the work of the curator aerarii and can substitute him/her.
