Gaius Marius Maior was Procurator of Provincia Daciaand Trium Daciarum member.

Gaius Marius Maior was born in Castrum Potaissa, the ancient roman fortress and headquarter of the Legio V Macedonica in Dacia Porolissensis. Married with Ti. Iulia Tutrix, he lived until a.d. XI Kal. Iun. ‡ L. Arminio Ti. Galerio cos. ‡ MMDCCLX a.u.c. in Oppidum Bucurestium and was very active in the social and economic life of the province. He will remain in our memories as one of the best of us, a real ROMAN PATRICIAN in his real life.
