Notes:

Salvete Patres Conscripti! The coins have proven to be a big success! Six months after they were first introduced, the Mint is already comfortably provided with funds to cover the face value of more than one-third of the coinage issued. From this point forward, we will be able to reimburse Marcus Cassius Julianus for the substantial personal investment he made in this project.

A follow-up note: Thanks to some late-breaking donations we were able to give a total of $475 to the Vindolanda Trust.

For planning purposes, I will note that I do not intend to seek re-election as Quaestor next year, but will of course work with those chosen by the voters and the Consuls of the year to ensure a smooth transition and meet all legal requirements.

Respectfully submitted,
Patricia Cassia
