In ancient Rome, the Aerarium Saturni (so called because it was situated within the temple of Saturn beneath the Capitol) was the repository for all the official financial documents of the State. It also served as the official treasury. In Nova Roma, this function is revived, with all official documents and treasury reports of the quaestors available herein for the perusal of all at any time.
