Ladies and Gentlemen;
In the January issue od "Aquila" we began some very simple Latin Lessons atthe request of the Senior Consul. These lessopns in no way are meant to impinge of the efforts of the Latin Sodallitas , but rather to do "Aquila's" part in providing some Latin examples.

In the city of Pompey is the house of Caecilius. We will getting to know Caecilius and his family through these lessons. Caeilius ws a real person, and his home can be found on a back street in the city of Pompeii. We have already met the Pater, and Mater, th4e son, the servant and the cookas well as the dog. Let us now pursue thrie singular acivities in the house:

Caecilius is in the study
Metella est in atrio
Metella is in the reception hall
Quintus est in triclinio
Quintus is in the dining room
Clemens est inhorto
Clemens is in the garden
Grumio in culina
Grumio is in the kitchen
