SENATOR'S COMMENTS:
Appius Tullius Marcellus Cato: I will go along on this one, but I believe
that we should have a discussion about the frequency of exemptions,
and take a hard look at the necessity of each case.
Decimus Iunius Silanus: I am uncomfortable granting exemptions of
this kind based on 'who' someone knows. Certain conditions would
certainly warrant an exemption, this is not one of them.
Franciscus Apulus Caesar: I give my approvation because the name of
Pontifex Gaius Modius Athanasius is an assurance for me. But I hope these
exemptions wouldn't be considered in the future.
Gnaeus Equitius Marinus: Uti Rogas with the understanding that this is an
exceptional and rare circumstance.
Gnaeus Salvius Astur: Since I believe that this procedure is not necessary,
I do not see any reason to deny an exemption from it.
Lucius Equitius Cincinnatus Augur: I agree with others who have said it's an
unnecessary requirement in any case.

Gnaeus Equitius Marinus: With thanks to Aedile Serapio for his initiative

SENATOR'S COMMENTS:
Caeso Fabius Quintilianus: I am very happy to see that the Academia
Thules have been able to engage this truly dedicated individual and that the
course has been met with such interest and satisfaction.
Decius Iunius Palladius Invictus: I was going to approve this, but in light
of recent information that this person may have resigned his citizenship, I will
abstain.
Franciscus Apulus Caesar: Congratulations to Illustrus Piscinus and to the
Academia Thule
Gnaeus Equitius Marinus: With most sincere thanks for the great gift provided
Gnaeus Salvius Astur: I hope that this will be only the first of many fruitful courses.
Lucius Equitius Cincinnatus Augur: Antiquo on account of this being someone
who has resigned his citizenship.
Additionally, the revolving door policy detracts from our Dignitas, Gravitas, Honestas,
Pietas, Nobilitas, Patientia et Virtus.
