Notes:

Salvete Patres Conscripti! A quiet quarter. I have sent a detailed report on NR's finances to Gaius Popillius Laenas, whom the Consuls have identified as the chief Treasury Quaestor of this year.

We have yet to enact a budget for this year, but I have asked the Consuls to bring this forward at their earliest convenience. To refresh everyone's memory, the current proposal is available at

http://www.novaroma.org/aerarium_saturni/budget2755.html

I will be happy to e-mail a copy of the Excel spreadsheet to anyone who wishes to craft a better proposal.

Also our $650 certificate of deposit (purchased last year for a combined Land Fund and Fideicommissum account) matures Jan. 31. If we approve a budget before then, we can add the budgeted amounts to the CD for both categories and renew it.

Respectfully submitted, Patricia Cassia
