GlobalText works in articles by checking the namespace. Portuguese articles are in the PT namespace. Since Category is a namespace that everybody shares, GlobalText does not know which language to use, so it always uses English in category pages. Keep the Category pages simple, don't include fancy stuff and you will have no problems. It is easy to keep GlobalText stuff out of Category pages by using <nowiki><noinclude></nowiki>  and <nowiki></noinclude></nowiki>. /\⁄\ |_  ⁄·\ 03:00, 23 January 2009 (CET)

Category question

I stopped using the template "CategoryLanguageBar" because it does not really work correctly and the problem is not something that can be fixed. You have been using an article inclusion and that is a much better solution.

I do not personally support creating empty categories either, but I have no say in this now, so do as you like. /\⁄\ |_ ⁄·\ 08:27, 22 January 2009 (CET)
