This page gives instructions for the creation of new portals using the Portal framework.

Steps

To create a new portal on the topic "Topic" using the template follow these steps:

Create a new page using [[Portal for "Topic"]] as the title of the page (where "Topic" is the subject of your portal) and enter the following text:

Save the article.

Return to editing your portal page. Follow the instructions for filling in the boxes. The general pattern is:

• a box across the top introduces the topic in general
• the left column relates to Roma antiqua.
• the right column relates to Nova Roma.
• a box across the bottom describes such things as on-going wiki projects related to this topic.
