Minervina Iucundia Flavia was confirmed by the Senate as the first Propraetor America Austrorientalis on a.d. III Non Sext. ‡ Fl. Vedio M. Cassio cos. ‡ MMDCCLI a.u.c. | (3 Aug 1998 CE) and served until a.d. V Id. Mar. ‡ Fl. Vedio (II) M. Cassio (II) cos. ‡ MMDCCLIV a.u.c. | (11 Mar 2001 CE).

The Provincia America Austrorientalis was established by act of Appointment of Pro Tempore Magistrates, issued 4 July L. Equitio Dec. Iunio cos. ‡ MMDCCLII a.u.c. | (4 July 1999 CE) by Dictator Flavius Vedius Germanicus, along with other provinciae, upon the refounding of the Res publica during the "civil war".
