Iulius Camillus was a praetorian senator and an awarded eques equo publico of the Nova Roman equestrian order. He was a very active aedilis, inventing new digital programs for the ludi, and he obtained the high honor of serving as praetor as a result of his recognition. He retired from the activity in the subsequent years and due to this was removed from the senate as part of the lectio senatus of the census.
