This is an informal guide to the duties of the custodes.

Upon taking office
Contact the previous custodes so that you may take control of the Suffragia Romana Yahoo group.
Remove the custodes and diribitores from the previous year.
Contact the new diribitores so that you may invite them to join the group.
The custodes should be the owners of the group and the diribitores should be members.
If any election official cannot be contacted, report this fact to the consules and to the censores.
Collect the e-mail addresses that the election officials will use to receive ballots. Give this list to the webmaster.
