Oppidum Urbs Nova is a local subdivision of the Provincia Sarmatia Nova Roma and any Nova Roman citizen who has his residence in the city of Nizhniy Novgorod and the Nizhegorodskaya Oblast (Russia), can join it.

The Oppidum rules are stipulated by the Foedus de constitutione civitatis Oppidi Urbis Novae and lex Fabia de oppidis et municipiis. The foundation of the Oppidum was promoted by the Nova Roman citizens of Nizhniy Novgorod and approved by Senate of Nova Roma.
