Quintus Caecilius Metellus Pius Postumianus (Nova Roma)
Q. Caecilius Metellus, originally Sp. Postumius Tubertus, was born pr. Non. Iun. MMDCCXXXIX in Cincinnati. Censors L. Equitius Cincinnatus and C. Flavius Diocletianus approved his application for citizenship Kal. Sex. M. Octavio L. Sulla cos.. He is currently both a Fetialis and Pontifex of Nova Roma.
Metellus changed his name from Sp. Postumius Tubertus to Q. Caecilius Metellus Postumianus pr. Non. Iun. Cn. Equitio Cn. Salice cos.. A.d. III Kal. Feb. Fr. Apulo C. Popillio, Pontifex C. Modius Athanasius conferred on him the agnomen "Pius".
Metellus has served as scribe to Curator M. Octavius, Praetors T. Labienus, Cn. Salix, and Cn. Octavius, Curule Aedile C. Iulius, and accensus to Consuls K. Fabius, Cn. Equitius, and C. Fabius. He has also served as diribitor Fr. Apulo C. Popillio cos., and in various provincial positions.
