Roman summer camp for kids in this area, in 2007. This was one of the many events that took place when this area was the center of activities of Nova Roma. The community of this area was made a regio, organizational subdivision of Pannonia in 2024.
Regio Iazygia is a territorial subdivision of Provincia Pannonia, consisting of counties Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Bács-Kiskun, Csongrád-Csanád, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, Hajdú-Bihar and Békés. Although this area was very active within Nova Roma since Fr. Apulo C. Laenate cos. MMDCCLVIII a.u.c., even more active than currently, the community of Nova Roma working here was made an official territorial subdivision of the organization only in a.d. V Kal. Quin. M. Cotta C. Petronio cos. MMDCCLXXVII a.u.c..

Its leader is the legatus regionis, Sp. Porcius Gemma.

Activities in the regio are mostly focused on school presentations about Roman history and reenactment, Roman summer camps, and minor events. In the early 2000s, this was the most active local area of Nova Roma, but it wasn't its own organizational entity back then. Currently the community here is still active but less vibrant and the events are smaller and less frequent.
