Talk:Curator Anarei (Nova Roma)
From NovaRoma
Not Curator Araneae, Magister Aranearius, vel simile? ( Mag. Ar. even already has an article...) -- Marius Peregrinus 20:08, 12 March 2007 (CET)
BTW which is the correct title for provincial webmasters? Magister Aranearius is the NR webmaster. I guess we need a standard title. Any ideas? -- T. Iulius Sabinus 07.12, 13 March 2007
- Perhaps "scriba aranearius" or "legatus aranearius", or even "magister aranearius provinciae (e.g.) Galliae". But I don't see why we need a standard title. Within the bounds of good Latin and common sense a governor should be free to call his appointees whatever he pleases.
- By the way, there's no need to use capital initials for job-titles. These are not proper nouns, and the policy is to use capitals for proper nouns only.

Salve Corde! Sure a governor should be free to call his appointees whatever he pleases, but we need a wiki page for each of them? It's normal to have wiki pages with the name: "Curator Aranei", "Dacian Retiarius" or "California magister vebsitarius”? I don’t see any reason. This is the point: the wiki pages with that titles.---T. Iulius Sabinus 24.02, 16 March 2007.
