There's no such date as a. d. IX Id. Oct., the date given in the article. The ninth day (by Roman reckoning) before the Ides of October is the Nones of October. Is that the date which is meant? Cordus 10:53, 9 July 2006 (CDT)

That was a clerical error on my part. I've since corrected it to what it should have been, a.d. VII Id. Oct. -- Q. Caecilius Metellus 00:38, 10 July 2006 (CDT)
