Name
Vicus Kanberra (also Vicus Canberra) is named for the city on which it is founded on.
Geography and Population
Vicus Canberra takes on the name of the capital of the country of Australia, which is also the "state-capital" and colloquial regional name for the small Australian Capital Territory. Its area includes the cities and shires of: ‘Snowy Monaro Regional Council’, ‘Snowy Valleys Council’, ‘Yass Valley Council’, ‘Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council’, ‘Goulburn Mulwaree Council’ and the ‘Australian Capital Territory’. All citizens of Nova Roma living within this are considered a member of the Vicus.

The Vicus rules are stipulated by the Constitutio Vici Kanberrae, so governed by the Lex Fabia de Oppidis et Municipiis. The foundation of the Vicus was approved by praetor D. Aurelius Ingenairius, governor Provincia Australia, on Non. Apr. ‡ P. Aurelio C. Flavio cos. ‡ MMDCCLXXVIII a.u.c..
Current Magistrates
Magistri Vici
There are two Magister Vici. They act as "co-councillors" and are the highest-ranked magistrates within the Vicus. The Magister Vici are elected by a meeting of the vicani in the last 3 months of the year and serve during the following calendar year. Their responsibilities include the maintenance of the Album Civium of thwe Vicus; maintenance of the Tabularium of the Vicus; collection, control, and disbursement of any available funds; and planning and executing local public events.

- Non. Apr. ‡ - Vicus is formally founded under edict of the governor and the first elections are held the same day. Marca Tuccia Merga and Aulus Claudius Venator are elected the inaugural Magistri Vici.
