After our meeting in the forum last night I looked through the consitution and determined that I would best serve as a Praetor. As a member of Legio XX (admittedly only a miles gregarius) I would use imperium judiciously. Politically, I am an open minded conservative comitted to the mos maiorum," Festina lente". Civilly and criminally, I would not condone frivolous prosecutions. But, don't be in the wrong. | After our meeting in the forum last night I looked through the consitution and determined that I would best serve as a Praetor. As a husband and father I believe that I have a balanced sense of compassion and discipline. So please consider my application for Praetor favorably. 1. Appointment of Lucius Equitius Cincinnatus as Praetor urbanus
Date: 4 May 1998
Si vales, valeo,
Felix anniversarius 2751 auc
After our meeting in the forum last night I looked through the consitution and determined that I would best serve as a Praetor. As a member of Legio XX (admittedly only a miles gregarius) I would use imperium judiciously. Politically, I am an open minded conservative comitted to the mos maiorum," Festina lente". Civilly and criminally, I would not condone frivolous prosecutions. But, don't be in the wrong. As a husband and father I believe that I have a balanced sense of compassion and discipline. So please consider my application for Praetor favorably. If you have any questions please email me.
Vale, Lucius Equitius Cincinnatus
Quoth F.Vedius Germanicus: "I would like to propose that we install Lucius Equitius Cincinnatus as Praetor. His email is attached and I think he'd be a fine addition to the ranks of Magistrates"
2. Diplomatic Recognition of Corvinia
(Proposed by Flavius Vedius Germanicus 5/23/98. No voting deadline. Approved with no dissenting votes 5/26/98.) I am pleased to announce that I received the following email this afternoon. I would urge the Senate to voice its approval for the issuance of a reciprocal statement.
Germanicus

With sincere respects to the assembled fathers of the Senate and to the people of New Rome,

The Foreign Ministry is pleased to add its own best wishes to this message.
