The tribes change occasionally, though; I don't think we should link to them directly, as eventually these will go out of sync with the actual definitions in the database.  From a citizen page you can link to their profile with <nowiki>{{AC|id|caption}} such as {{AC|22|M. Octavius Gracchus}} </nowiki>, and the tribe is only one click away from there.  [[User:M Octavius Gracchus|Marcus Octavius Gracchus]][[User talk:Marcus Octavius Germanicus|<font color="green" size="-2">(t)</font>]] 09:23, 29 October 2006 (CST)

Agreed.  I see on the 'Choosing a Roman name' page there is a list of the tribes and an explanation of their purpose.  On the subject of the link to the AC profile, is there a standard text/phrase or a preferred placement.  Agrippa

I don't see these Tribe subcategories as useful. The Album Civium performs this function automatically; duplication here seems a wasted effort. A link to the Album Civium page from citizens' wiki pages would be far more useful.

Additionally, each tribe category will always be incomplete, as the majority of citizens in each tribe won't qualify for a Wiki page. I propose that we remove them, before they become too numerous. Marcus Octavius Gracchus(t) 09:15, 29 October 2006 (CST)

I see what you mean. What about a link from the tribe category page to each tribe's page on the album civum as well as the link from the person's page?

The tribes change occasionally, though; I don't think we should link to them directly, as eventually these will go out of sync with the actual definitions in the database. From a citizen page you can link to their profile with {{AC|id|caption}} such as {{AC|22|M. Octavius Gracchus}} , and the tribe is only one click away from there.
