Lucius Marius Fimbria

Lucius Marius Fimbria, also known as Lucius Marius Peregrinus, was a citizen of Nova Roma from Fl. Vedio M. Cassio cos. MMDCCLI a.u.c. to a.d. VI Kal. Mai. Fl. Vedio (II) M. Cassio (II) cos. MMDCCLIV a.u.c.. He was known ab initio as a moderating influence on the Nova Roma mailing-list, but later as a key member of an increasingly visible dissident wing. After a series of unpalatable actions by the censores, Marius resigned his citizenship and, along with some friends - many of them members of the amici dignitatis - formed the Societas Via Romana, where he is now known as Aldus Marius Peregrinus.
