Pomona Dea is the Roman goddess of gardens and orchards; the lady of the orchard.  She is seen in mythology to have dismissed the advances of both [[Silvanus]] and [[Picus]], and is said to have married [[Vertumnus]] after he disguised himself as a crone and tricked her.  Her priest is the [[Flamen Pomonalis]].  Pomona is associated with abundance, and is often seen carrying a platter of fruit or a cornucopia.
