A Senator is a member of the Senate of Nova Roma.

Senatores are appointed by the Censores. The list of Senatores is regularly revised by the Censores, but Senatores are only removed if they bring the Senate into disrepute.

A person who has held a high magistracy will normally become a Senator. Present holders of higher magistracies are not necessarily Senatores but are entitled to participate in meetings of the Senate by virtue of their office.
