Q. Claudia Lucentia Aprica was the first citizen of Nova Roma in Britain and became the first governor of Britannia provincia.

Mense Novembri Fl. Vedio M. Cassio cos. ‡ MMDCCLI a.u.c. she was a candidate for the praetura,^[1]

but withdrew her candidacy before voting ended.[2]

Q. Claudia retired from public life except for her continued government of Britannia. During the dictatura of Fl. Vedius she was invited to join the senate but declined.
