Lucius Marius Fimbria, also known as Lucius Marius Peregrinus, was a citizen of Nova Roma from Fl. Vedio M. Cassio cos. ‡ MMDCCLI a.u.c. to a.d. VI Kal. Mai. ‡ Fl. Vedio (II) M. Cassio (II) cos. ‡ MMDCCLIV a.u.c.. He was known ab initio as a moderating influence on the Nova Roma mailing-list, but later as a key member of an increasingly visible dissident wing. After a series of unpalatable actions by the censores, Marius resigned his citizenship and, along with some friends - many of them members of the amici dignitatis - formed the Societas Via Romana, where he is now known as Aldus Marius Peregrinus.
