A Universal Current Events Shortlist

Take a look at Template:Current Events Shortlist... When it is done, we can use it on any main page and the correct language and correct links will show! Could you add the PT translations? When it is done, could you use this one on the PT main page? Thanks! Agricola 09:48, 3 January 2008 (CET)

Salve Agricola, I had already discovered by myself, only now I read the comment, thank you... Genialis(t) 18:18, 8 January 2008 (BRST)
Great! Thanks for helping! When we are done, we will be able to turn important notices on and off on all main pages and in all languages just by editing one template! Agricola 06:19, 9 January 2008 (CET)

using CategoryLanguageBar

when you use CategoryLanguageBar, don't include the "Category:" in the part that comes after the "|" -- just include the name of the category, no prefix:

  • GOOD: {{CategoryLanguageBar|Ritus (Nova Roma)}}
  • NOT THIS: {{CategoryLanguageBar|Category:Ritus (Nova Roma)}}
  • NOT THIS: {{CategoryLanguageBar| Ritus (Nova Roma)}} (the extra space after the "|" breaks it)

Sorry for the confusion - this is a new template, and I haven't been able to write guidelines yet. Thanks for using it!

...and now I see you fixed it while I was writing this! thanks... Marcus Octavius Germanicus(t) 23:45, 19 September 2006 (CDT)
Yes, thank you Octavi. I noticed the right way to do it after I did it wrong... Titus Arminius Genialis(t) 23:46, 19 September 2006 (CDT)
