Q. Claudia Lucentia Aprica was the first citizen of Nova Roma in Britain and became the first governor of Britannia provincia.

Mense Novembri Fl. Vedio M. Cassio cos. MMDCCLI a.u.c. she was a candidate for the praetura,[1]

but withdrew her candidacy before voting ended.[2]


Q. Claudia retired from public life except for her continued government of Britannia. During the dictatura of Fl. Vedius she was invited to join the senate but declined.
