Quoted Message Follows: It is the pleasure of this ministry to inform you that HCH Prince Peter I Ravn has instructed us to transmit to you the following brief statement of Corvinia's diplomatic position with regard to Nova Roma:

"Moved by deep respect for the traditions and accomplishments of the Rome that was, and impressed by the commitment and honourable intentions of the New Rome, I hereby fully and formally acknowledge that Corvinia recognizes the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Nova Roma. I offer my heartiest support in your endeavour, and my hopes that this recognition may ensure that the amity that is growing between our two nations continues to prosper.

With sincere respects to the assembled fathers of the Senate and to the people of New Rome,

Peter I Ravn, Prince of Corvinia."

The Foreign Ministry is pleased to add its own best wishes to this message.
