Gaius Decius Laterensis

C. Decius Laterensis is the flamen Martialis, chief priest of Mars, of the Nova Roman Republic. He currently serves the republic as aedilis curulis.

C. Decius was the first citizen to be raised to patrician status after about 10 years in Nova Roman history: the senate and the comitia curiata adlected him among the patricii espacially in order to make him qualified to the sacred priesthood of the flamonium Martiale, since only a patrician may be installed as flamen Martialis.
