Album Civium

Imperator P. Porcius Licinus tribunician senator is one of the current praetors of Nova Roma, that is, the vice-president of the republic. He is also one of the special generals, commanders-in-chief of the Nova Roman Reenactment Armies as legatus pro praetore in co-command of a number of legions, responsible for the legal aspects of past efforts that were made for saving Nova Roma. In these series of internal conflicts, he distinguished himself as one of the leaders of the Roman republican liberatores, and was acclaimed imperator twice. P. Licinus was awarded with the highest possible decoration a Roman could be awarded, the corona civica, and the senate voted him a triumph, for serving as the assistant commander-in-chief leading the legions of Nova Roma in overcoming the complicated conflict called the Third "Civil War" of Nova Roma, during which Nova Roma would have perished, if he didn't become one of our saviors.

P. Licinus has become known as the champion of liberty and republicanism, when he, as tribune of the plebs, defended the freedom of opinion, free speech and the rights of the citizens when Cn. Caesar and L. Sulla launched a coup d'état against the lawful government of Nova Roma, starting what has been called (tongue in cheek) the Third "Civil War" of Nova Roma.

Together with Cn. Lentulus, he led the Saving Nova Roma Movement, and as the legatus pro praetore of proconsul Sex. Lucilius, he was one of the commanders-in-chief of the liberator legions in co-command with proconsul imp. Cn. Lentulus Alexander, legatus pro praetore imp. Cn. Lentulus the Younger, and proconsul imp. T. Domitius. His job was to serve as the coordinator of the legal defense with the attorneys of Nova Roma. During his work, he personally donated several thousands of dollars to the legal defense fund and worked hundreds of hours for saving the res publica. In recognition of his huge financial contribution to Nova Roma, he and his entire family has received tax-exempt status in Nova Roma for the rest of their lives.

After the conclusion of the "war", for saving the Roman citizenships, that is, indeed the Roman lives of several citizens who got banished and cancelled for life by the tyrants, and by saving Nova Roma, for saving the civic lives of all Nova Romans, he received the highest possible decoration a citizen can receive, the corona civica, which granted him observer status in the senate.

For his contributions to the victory, he was acclaimed imperator twice and the senate voted a triumph for him.

He has also received the Censorial Award, the highest magistrate-awarded recognition after the conclusion of the first census held after the "civil war".
