The Provincia of Sarmatia in Nova Roma comprises the territory of Ukraine. Until February Sex. Lucilio (II) A. Tullia (II) cos. MMDCCLXXV a.u.c., Russia and Belarus also belonged to this section of Nova Roma: they form now a new, separate, experimental province, called Scythia et Russia.

The Flag of Sarmatia


The official language is Russian and English. We welcome anybody who would like to communicate with us and has a major interest in Roman history, culture and civilization. The provincial flag is composed of the representative symbol of the Provincia Sarmatia - golden Gryphon, the golden crown of Nova Roma on a purple background and words SARMATIA PROV.
