The Roman Market Day of Nova Roma in Provincia Nova Britannia was the main event of Nova Roma in America, Wells Harbor Park, Maine, for many years, taking over the place ofthe Roman Days of Nova Roma convention, which was not so closely linked to Nova Roma. The Roman Market Day was specifically organized as an annual public festival by Nova Roma, by proconsul M. Audens and by M. Cassius, first held in M. Octavio L. Sulla (II) cos. MMDCCLV a.u.c., and was attended by 500 to 2000 people depending on the year.
