Senatorial Rank
The Album Senatorium, as maintain by the Censors, lists, in order of rank, the current members of the Nova Roman Senate.
The highest ranking member of the Senate is the Princeps Senatus. The Princeps Senatus is the oldest Patrician member who has completed a term as Censor. He is followed by anyone who has served as Dictator.
They are then followed by those who have served as Censor, Consul, Praetor, Aediles, Tribunes, Quaestores, and private Senators. They are then ordered within each group by age.
Other than the dignity afforded the Princeps Senatus, as being first among equals, the rankings have no legal effect.
