Imperator Sex. Lucilius Tutor censorial and consular senator is one of the special generals, commanders-in-chief of the Nova Roman Reenactment Armes as proconsul in command of a number of legions. He served the res publica as head of state three times, twice as consul, once as tribunus militum consulari potestate.
He was praetor, vice-president of the republic in M. Pompeio Sex. Lucilio cos. ‡ MMDCCLXVIII a.u.c., but due to the lack of candidates (the collegiate consulship missed one of the consules), he did not serve out that term but offered himself to run for consulship, and served as consulfor the remainder of that year. During his praetorship, Sex. Lucilius and his colleague reintroduced multilingualism, the free use of languages other than English, to the Nova Roman mailing list forum, with special emphasis on the support of the free use of Latin.
