Regio (Nova Roma)

Nova Roma is divided into a number of provinciae, and some provinciae can be sub-divided into a number of regionis. A regio can omprise a single country or several, or on the other end of the spectrum, can be made up of sub-national units from a single country. The governor of the provinces have the power to appoint and replace praefectus.

Governance

The praefectus of the regio is the governor of that sub-province. The "governor" of Italia Nova Romana is called praefectus Italiae. All regional praefectus are subordinate to the provincial governor in which they are.
